My office has need of a temporary employee, fluent in English and Spanish. Close to full-time work for the whole of this coming week. (The reason is that Stephen, our immigration attorney, is going on a trip out of state for the week. His duties will be taken over by Laura, but that means someone must take over her duties, answering the phones and scheduling things.) Duties include answering phones and some initial client intake, but no legal or administrative experience is necessary as long as you have your wits about you. Please let me know if anyone is interested.

If I spoke Spanish (I don't remember much of my sixth grade Spanish class), you know I would be there with bells on. But my sorely broken fumblings would likely be offensive to actual Spanish speakers, so... sorry.

I hope you guys find someone. You know you can always call on me for backup, should you need it.

If you spoke Spanish, you know you'd be the first person we'd call. I can mention it anyway. But I think they really do need a Spanish speaker. Just last week, they finally enacted this policy allowing minor immigrants who entered the country illegally to remain here; we're getting swamped with applications. Makes me wish I knew anything about immigration law. I've asked if there's anything I can do to help, but apparently it's too specialized to teach casually.

Aw, cutie, I wasn't horning in on the job, just saying that if you guys need an extra hand, I'm always available. Because, you know, even with a bilingual temp, there may be stuff left to do. I still have keys and bus tickets, so you know... I'm ready to go at a moment's notice. XD
